Went in to the hospital yesterday for my outpatient procedure. In terms of discomfort.. I am doing better than I expected... I am also on pain killers. I had laprascopic surgery before for a ruptured falliopian tube which was much more painful. I expect these first several days will be healing ones.. and will post more later.

Congrats on joining the loosers bench.
The lapband has been my best friend & sometimes my enemy. Just remember the band does not do the work for you, it just assist. A healthy diet & exercise are key to weightloss.

The pain really is not bad at all...mostly gas. Try to walk as much as possible & i found that sleeping sitting up (recliner) helped alot.

Congrats on your banding. The pain will get better daily. Remember too that if the gas gets to be too much and walking just isn't helping that you can take Gas-X as well. Good luck on your WLS journey to health!
