Angry I HATE THIS!!!

Ok! I am very depressed & angry today! I was DX over 2 years ago....I figured it out & brought it to the attention of my endo that was treating my hypothyroidism. He told me I was right & gave me MET. Never did he up it past 500mg. So when I got preg w/ my 2nd child I went off the MET. The symptoms went away while I was preg. After the baby I wanted to head off any possible symptoms so I tried to get an appointment right away. I had to wait. but everything seemed great. i was 3 lbs down from my pre preg weight & feeling awesome & very positive about weight lose. By the time I got to the dr & got the blood tests & waited for the results, pcos was back. I was on GlucXR for 2 weeks & I gained 18lbs. I am so disgusted. I then made drastic changes in my diet...not total low carb, but drastic none the less. Ive done that for a month now & NOTHING> I didnt gain anymore but other symptoms are getting worse. When I asked Dr to up my dose he said not yet. I have a script for a blood test at 6 weeks on the GLUCXR. Thats still 2 weeks away! I cant do this anymore. What would I weigh if I didnt make those DRASTIC changes? Im afraid to switch drs cause it will be starting all over, but how am I going to make my Dr listen. they all know everything ( yet I had to research & diagnose myself cause I knew I couldnt be this fat just from what I eat!!!) Im so aggravatesd & depressed. 2002 was a hell year & now i have this to contend with this year when it was under control before. I cant go another 3 weeks...i wont have any clothes that fit!!! I just want this fixed. All I did all day was cry. This is so out of my control....& I cant stand not having control!! All I can do is rant & rave......at least I have somewhr to do it where people will understand!

Hi Tam42na! ((((((((((HUGS))))))))))))))

I am sorry that you are having such a rough time with all of this. It's true that you are in the right place where all of your concerns and frustrations are understood. We all feel the same way. Sometimes it's a hurry up and wait situation.

I am hoping that you are feeling a little bit better since posting this.

Hang in there! Keep us posted on how you are doing!

April
