is this a symptom of hypothyroidism? Its just crazy. Always sweating and wanting the fan on my face. I also feel like a lump in my throat. THis is becoming so annoying....

That sounds more like hyperthyroidism then hypo but am no doctor and people are different. So ask your doctor if your concerned.

it sounds like hyper to me also. i was hyper for about 2 years. the lump might be what the call a nodule (sometimes a hot nodule). you need to go be tested. if the hot flashes feel like your burning up from the inside out, then thats prob what it is. i hated it! i would sit on the steps in my nitegown at 3 in the morning in 30 degree weather. it felt sooooo goood too! ahhhhhhhhhh

I am sick of sweating 24/7. I have stuck my head in the freezer with wet hair just to get relief! MD just raised Levo from 175mcg to 200mcg.

Hashimoto's?? I have it and can go through some pretty rough hypo/hyper swings. I'll be freezing cold one day and then burning up the next.

I have Hashi's too and I am either freezing or burning up. I hate the summer!! I am a cook and being in that hot kitchen is miserable. When I get really hot, my heart starts beating fast and I feel like I am going to pass out. I am not sure if its my thyroid or anxiety. I get my levels checked again at the end of the month. I am going to ask my doctor.

gigglygina, im just wonderin, why is your dr raising your meds if you are burning up? i have days where i feel hypo one day and hyper the next and i alternate synthroid doses everday, but that seems like an awful lot if you are hot and sweating. not trying to be nosy or anything just curious!!!
