Default I have a new planet!

So I wake up this morning, feeling pretty good about myself. I worked out last night and ate a really good meal, and had a fun time with the DH and the furbabies. But as soon as I look in the mirror - BAM! - there are three new zits on my face, but not just your normal tiny zits that if you pop might go away or leave be will be gone my lunch. No - its one of those zits that resembles Rudolph's nose. And to add to my misery my DH walks into the bathroom while I am assesing the damage, and blurts out - 'oh my god honey - you have a planet on your face!'
Great.
Thanks babe.

So I was wondering if any of you girls get acne like that, I am so upset, I am 24, thought I would be over this by now. But no.

Thanks a bunch for letting me rant.

That always seems to happen to me. I never just get one, it's like four but all in a little row so they connect to create one huge, and painful, planet (great way to describe it). And, as soon as those heal, four more of their friends show up on a different area of my face. My husband gets so frustrated with me, I'm a picker, and he'll slap my hand away when he sees me touching my face. "They'll never heal if you don't leave them alone!" Suddenly, I'm 14 and begging my mom to let me stay home from school. I feel your pain!

That is soooo my husband and me! I am a picker too, and he threatens me if i pick, like I will have to sleep on the couch - or no kisses for the rest of the night, but of course five minutes goes by and he forgets. One of the other posts I read was about some stuff called 'bye bye blemish' - have you ever heard of it? does it work? if so - where can i find some?

I'm the same way, I usually have a massive pimple on me at all times, and then I have a nice little red mark there afterwards for months to remind me of it.

nylittlejen, I get clusters too, they drive me insane, none of my friends get pimples like that so its nice to know that I'm not alone.

When I'm on BCP's my skin is clear and beautiful. When I'm off them, it looks like raw hamburger -- red and sore and AWFUL. That's why I'm starting a new pack in the morning after a few months being off of them.

I just started progestrone for a withdrawal bleed, I haven't had a period in about 4 months, so maybe that is why my face is so beaten up. For my wedding a month ago - it actually cooperated, and looked great, well, except for the hairs, but i had my two sisters and my cousin work on the for me. God did that hurt! oh well. I just hope that after these 10 days goes by that my face won't look like the blood moon or something!

Another member of that planet here... hi everyone, I'm new, just registered. My face is 100% clear now thanks to tetracycline, but I do get cystic acne every now and then. The only thing that works for me when I have a painful, bumpy, red cyst is to mix one crushed aspirin with a bit of aloe vera gel, making a paste thick enough that it won't run down my face. Then I add a bit of tea tree oil, dab that mix over the cysts, and go to bed. Next morning I have molehills on my face instead of himalayas. Doing that everynight for 3 or 4 nights brings the nasty things to a head, and I go and pop them. Now I don't recommend the popping part, but the rest works wonders!

I know you guys have heard this a million times... but... I can't stress enough the importance of not touching your face and picking. My skin has improved so much since I stopped doing that. I think the main reason why you get acne all clumped together is because you are touching that area so much which causes more acne.
My skin has cleared up so much since I stopped picking and touching and using retina.
Bad skin is sooooooooo frustrating.
