Unhappy I have one of the few side effects of cinnamon :(

I noticed tonight that I am a bit short of breathe and wasn't sure why. I recently started taking cinnamon capsules, though initially I blew it off but I decided to look up any potential side effects. I see one of the main ones right there... "bronchial constriction"... I don't really want to stop taking it but think maybe I should because this... quite frankly sucks. I wonder if I would have the same reaction if I took one in the morning and one @ night?

My suggestion is to take less. Cinnamon is very potent, and you might be taking more than your body is able to handle. Try cutting back and see if the symptoms stop. If not, it might not be the right product for you. There are LOTS of things you can take, so don't give up, you might just have to keep looking for what works for you!

Thank you... I really wanted cinnamon to work but I'm so nervous since it had so much trouble breathing. I'm a nursing student and we've learned that reactions get worse with each interaction which I'm not sure if it is just a side effect or an actual allergic reaction, but I've decided to be on the safe side to not use it. I have a good friend at work that can use it though! I never would have thought cinnamon could be so hard core lol.

Well, don't give up. You will find something that works for you! Do you take a multivitamin? If not, that is something I strongly suggest - especially something that is high in B vitamins (women tend to be low, and if you've ever taken BCP, you will be even lower). Also try Omega 3 oil (look for one that has lemon oil in it, to help digest it so you don't burp fish! Nature's Sunshine brand is the one I use). That's where I would start if I was you. Oh, one other - look for a good antioxidant, especially good is Mangosteen juice.
