Default I have opposite intestine side effects- SO frustrated. HELP HELP!

Ok, so I've been on Fortamet (glucophage XR) 1000mg since October and am a 'thin' cyster at 5'2" under 100 lbs. I did TONS of research on Met, etc. before I was put on it-which I had to beg to get anyone to diagnose me since I don't have the traditional PCOS 'look'.

Anyhoo, when I finally got a Dr. to listen I started taking the Met and had the bloating, bubbly tummy... six months from then I still have a CONSTANT bubbly tummy even with strict low GI diet and watching what I eat very closely to gage whether I have a reaction or not. However, my question is not about the 'bubbles' I can deal with that. I get severely constipated about once every week and a half I'll go three or more days without a BM. Thus, I've had to take laxatives to get me through since November and we all know how wretched they are for the digestive system... I've tried stimulants, saline and herbal btw.

Come January I went to a GI doctor thinking I had some kind of intense food allergy and had a sigmoid done to reveal absolutely nothing was wrong.

I've tried probiotics, fiber, lots of water, diet (as stated). I'm just so lost and feeling out of options I don't know what to do. Its incredibly uncomfortable and really would rather have the opposite side effect that everyone else has...

PLEASE, anyone, anything is welcome.
xoxo

Oh, I've also taken Papaya enzymes, Peppermint, Fennel, Aloe Vera YOU name it. At this point, I'm thinking of going back to the Dr. to see if he can give me something to regulate the intestinal muscle contractions. Bah!

Have you every heard of Young Living Oils? They are theraputic grade essential oils that you can ingest. They have one called Di-gize that is supposed to help with digestion and constipation. Maybe that will help? Good luck to you! I hope you find a solution.
