Default I have polycystic ovaries

Is polycystic ovaries the same thing as PCOS?

I am 28 - I do not plan on having any more children in fact I had my tubes tied up after my last one so just wondering if it's safe to just have my ovaries removed oppose to dealing with all the risks of have PCOS?

sweetie, pcos is not a gynae conditions it is a hormonal imbalance. the pco are a symptom of it. i have heard of women having full/partial hystorectomy (sp! sorry) and the sysmptom have gotton worse. its a condition you have to learn to manage because it effects so many other parts of your body x
