Default I have questions about my acne...

Hi all!

I have been reading the threads on the acne forum and have some basic questions that I would like answered.

What is hormonal acne?

I have recently started to break out on my upper arms and upper back area and around the jawline. When I spoke to my beauty therapist yesterday about this, she informed me there is no cosmetic cure (for example, mask, scrub etc.) that can get rid of this.

How do I get rid of my acne?

My normal acne woes include red spots on my cheeks that appear to be so far below the skin surface that i can never get rid of them. They rarely develop into what I term 'volcanoes' on my face - ie. crap pushing through what feels like 50 skin layers, becoming red raw and painful and ugly and pus-filled.

Are there any other laser treatments out there that people recommend?

I have been reading the thread about the Smoothbeam laser treatment. Are there any others out there that people recommend?

Thanks! Mez.

Maureen,

Thanks for the site. I've skimmed through it and it looks good.
