We have been assigned a region!! That means we are finally in line to get our referral!! I can't believe it. We are adopting from Ufa, the capital of the Republic of Bashkortostan, orphanage #2. Has anyone had any experience with this region. We understand they do few adoptions each year and normally place a family there when they already have a child in mind. Wouldn't that be amazing!! If they already had a baby Micah picked out and waiting for us!!!

Congrats!!! How exciting! I remember finding out where our region was(magnitogorsk) I couldn't pronounce it for the longest time. yes take this time now and research the region. I haven't heard of your region, I will have to look that up too. do you have to take two trips? we did. on our first trip we took a full extra day and our agency set up one full day of site seeing and shopping around Moscow! It was a wonderful experience, once we got into the region we adopted from we missed modern day conveinces, but that was ok we were there for our babies!
