Unhappy I have several questions! I REALLY need your help!

first question ahhhhhhhhh god, when you are at the beginings of a panic attack does your head feel kinda tingly, and lightheaded?

This happened to me lastnight while dh was in a store getting me a sub, I was in the car holding my puppy, having a really good night, and out of nowhere I was lightheaded, kinda tingly head, instantly lost my appetie and all I wanted to do was run home.

I am so scared I used to suffer from depression and panick attacks a few years ago and the though of going there again scared me deeply

When I got home lastnight dh just sat with me quietly and I took an ativan that I had from awhile back which helped alot and I fell asleep.

Is there a med out there that is good for panick aswell as depression? I am also a VERY bad worrier!!!!! Worry about if i'm gonna die, if hubby's gonna die and just useless crap that I shouldn't be so worked up over.

What about paxil, and taking ativan when needed?

I REALLY need your guys help!

The hardest part is going to be making that doctors appointment monday Maybe i'll book it for when dh has a day off and he can come with me.

ANY help would be so appreciated

I'm sorry TickledPink......

I have never gone through what you're describing, but I do have an idea that might work??? (Forgive my ignorance if it doesn't)

If it is daylight where you are....and the sky is beautiful and blue.....look up and see the enormous beauty that lies above....think about the birds that fly swiftly and aimlessly across it with no fear of what might come.... because they (we) have no control over our fate.

We make the best decisions we can and move on....and find happiness in your own capability to reason.

(Once again, please forgive me if that seems corny...and it doesn't have to be the sky ... it can be a tree....or anything you find to be peaceful)

HTH and I hope you get to feeling better very soon!

Sending loads of Peaceful thoughts your way!

Manda

I know what your saying, and when I am in the bouts of panic I try my hardest to relax and get myself calm.

But coming out of a complete place of doom and death is a very hard think to do just by trying to relax.

Like the other night when DH got home I was so wound up and anxious feeling that my leyg were trembling like I was having a seizure and my shoulders were rock hard.

I called my doc this morning and I CAN'T get in till the 23rd, or I can go to see him while he is working the walk in tomorrow.

{{{sigh}}}

Luke 12:

24 "Consider the ravens, for they neither sow nor reap; they have no storeroom nor barn, and yet God feeds them; how much more valuable you are than the birds! 25 "And which of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life's span? 26 "If then you cannot do even a very little thing, why do you worry about other matters? 27 "Consider the lilies, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin; but I tell you, not even Solomon in all his glory clothed himself like one of these.

29 "And do not seek what you will eat and what you will drink, and do not keep worrying. 30 "For all these things the nations of the world eagerly seek; but your Father knows that you need these things. 31 "But seek His kingdom, and these things will be added to you. 32 "Do not be afraid, little flock.....

I hope you find comfort from this, God loves you.

Tickledpink - I can relate, I get lightheaded before a panic attack all the time. It is hard to remember to stay in control and to ground myself before I get carried away. I take Celexa and it works on both the panic and depression. Hope your doctor helps you out. Let us know how things are going, talk to you soon,
take care and stay safe,
Mel
