Default I have some Electrolysis questions pls...

I want to have this done in the worst way as i can no longer keep up with the hair on my face..

i dont care how much Electrolysis hurts im doing it lol

my questions are
1- do you have to let the face hair grow out allot before it can be done?

2- is it wise to look for a place that is familiar with pcos - or does it not matter so long as they know how to get rid of hair?

2- what is the average cost for a session?

Thanks so much

Hi Beads,
I put my answers in after your questions. Hope this helps! Jean
my questions are

1- do you have to let the face hair grow out allot before it can be done?

Well, what would be a lot? As long as she can grasp the hair with tweezers, I think that is all the longer it needs to be. So, for me that would be about 2 days growth! But it would for sure not need to be any longer than waxing length.

2- is it wise to look for a place that is familiar with pcos - or does it not matter so long as they know how to get rid of hair?

I think the most important aspect of finding an electrolysis provider is that they are reputable. Make sure you know their credentials etc. If someone doesn't know what they are doing they can cause scarring (not trying to scare ya!). Someone doing electrolysis at, say, a plastic surgery center would probably make me feel better than the lone electrolysis in a strip mall.

2- what is the average cost for a session?

From my own experience and what I have read sessions are about $60.00 an hour, give or take of course.

Good luck, and you will feel great afterwards, smooth smooth!
Jean
