Unhappy I have very strong, white hairs on my chin.. WHY? Lazer???

I have a very hairy face and have been shaving since high school. I take 50mg of Spironolactone a day and I think it has helped a lot.

Why do I have white hairs???? They look very thick and translucent!! They really hurt to pluck. I only have them on the sides of my chin. I am thinking about Laser, but I don't think it will work on them. I am very pale and the rest of the hair is very dark and I know that will work.

Also, what is the best kind of Laser???

if you find out let me know. I been for trial and was told since laser works on the pigmentation it was not suitable for fair hair on fair skin. I tried electroylysis. Very painful and slow but has reduced it. Have since given up now and am plucking again. Just too much money over too long a period. Good luck on your hunt. I'm kind of resigned to waiting till they invent the Perfect laser. for all kinds of hair !!!

I have a few also. I thought that maybe it was the way the hair regrows after plucking them so many times. At least it is easier to tell when they grow back. They are so thick that as soon as they come out the skin I can feel them. The are located on the sides of my chin and on the sides of my 'moustache'.

Default laser treatment

There is a type of laser that will get rid of white hair as well as dark. It's called Softlight. I know they do it in the UK but I dont know about anywhere else. When i was having my dark har removed the white course and fluffy hair went too.

With this type of laser, a carbon cream is put on the skin and then alcohol soaked cloths are used to push it into the hair follicles. The result was very good but you need to get touch-ups every so often.

Thats the only laser I know that will remove white hair.
