I vaguely remember reading that this is a clotting disorder. If so, please don't give up hope - in most cases, those are treatable. I have one, and went on to have a healthy son after my 4th pregnancy, which was my first pregnancy with treatment for my clotting disorder, antiphospholipid antibody syndrome.
I am living my signature on to give you some hope.
