Unhappy I just want to cry....

My hair is so thin on top. I always had such long thick hair. It was always the one thing that people always commented on. My hair is now shoulder length and layered and so very thin. Its awful!! I HATE IT...I HATE IT....I HATE IT!!!! The last few months the top up front has gotten really bad, I can see my scalp. When I run my fingers through my hair it feels rough or kinda sharp close to the scalp. Is this where pieces have broken off? Or could it be where they are trying to grow out? This just isnt fair! I HATE PCOS!!!!!

PCOS can be such a freakin' drag. It's bad enough we struggle to keep our weight under control and have babies and then we have to deal with acne, thinning hair and hair in unwanted places!! Are you taking anything or using special meds for the hair loss?

Default me too

i am in the same boat as you. I had long thick hair, my hairdresser used to cringe, it took 35 mins just to cut. Now I can wrap a hair tie around it 5 times. I am only 21 and people give me dirty looks all the time. I am considering a wig, at first i thought people will stare if the y think its a wig, but people already stare, but at least Ill look better in my eyes. I am happy to help you, even though i am young i still feel like i am old because of this. I take 1500mg of met , and I still havent noticed any difference, but I am happy that I got PCOS not cancer, or any other terrible condition, I may need some encouragement every now and then but then I remember that there are many people like me..................HUGS
