Default I knew it was good, but not THIS good!

Wow. Fertility Friend just gave me crosshairs. On cd 16. I haven't had anything lower than cd 24 in the past year, and that was a fluke. Otherwise, it's firmly in the 30s. Met cut my ovulation time in half, and at that point I'd only been on a 500 mg dose for a week. Plus, it's a healthy looking chart.

Can Met really work that fast? Maybe I was simply relaxed because I figured that eventually Met would work, maybe, sometime in the future...? Because this is crazy fast. What do you think: unintentional relaxation or the miracle that is Met?

(I also realize that I am very lucky; I only seem to have a mild form of PCOS: I do still ovulate. But did anyone ever have AF come on this fast after taking Met?)

It worked pretty quickly for me, too. I also think that Met helped reduce some of the ttc stress. It was cheap and I knew I could keep taking it. There wasn't all the pressure with the other drugs.

It worked that way for me as well. I started taking Met in the early summer of 05, and was pregnant in August. It immediately got me onto a normal cycle, with ovulation right around cd14-16. I was thrilled.

Hope you are seeing a BFP really soon.

The first month I took met (500 mg daily), I had a beautiful cycle, complete with ovulation on day 14!! I didn't get pregnant (but DH has issues as well, which we didn't know about at the time), but I was amazed that it worked so fast.

I really hope I have as good of luck with the met as some of you ladies! I've been temp charting since Feb. and have yet to get my FF crosshairs. I started met last week, I'm really hoping it does the trick to get me Oing again.

Interestingly enough I started Met and had a period 9 days after my induced Provera period. Talk about AF coming on fast! The doc didn't even know why it happened. I hope that this month's cycle will be different...day 8 and counting. Thanks for giving all of us hope! I too have mild PCOS symptoms but unfortunately my worst symptom is ovulation

Congratulations on your AF! And let's see what happens with the Met. I'm still stunned. PLUS, I have no acne on my face any more. My skin is a smooth as a baby's bottom. This med is crazy.

I'm not TTCing at the moment; I'm trying to get a contract as a teacher in the fall (just starting out) and I can't TTC until November in order to last the full year. I was just trying to get my cycle together by then. But good luck to everyone else trying for a BFP!
