Talking I Love Met!!

I just had to share that I am already having success on met. I posted last week that I was starting back on met. Well, I had not had a period in at least 6 months and 6 days after starting met, AF arrived!! Yay!!! I am also noticing less sugar cravings and I seem to get full where I used to be hungry all the time AND all of that was on 500 mg, I just upped it to 1000 mg last night.

Now I just have to get my butt in gear and make sure I am eating right and exercising so I will lose weight. Then we will ttc #2 hopefully in Jan or Feb.

I love met too. I still have a lot of stomach discomfort, but in 7 months, it brought my testosterone level down from 130 something to 53. My LH and FSH are now at a 1:1 ratio. Before met, they were at at 2:1 ratio, respectively. I'm ovulating each month and I get a period every 35-37 days. And, my facial hair growth has slowed down tremendously, while my head hair is beggining to grow again. YAY!!! Met is a wonder drug.

I think I might love Met too.

I am actually only on 250mg/day now, but I have already noticed that the annoying hair growth has slowed, and my face is no longer an oil slick at 5pm (which I never attributed to PCOS, but I guess it was related). I also don't have that horrible "foggy brain" all day long. Boy is THAT a nice thing.

I do think it makes me panicky/jittery, so my Dr has me taking 250mg for 4 weeks then upping to 250mg/2x a Day for 4 weeks, to see if I can tolerate it better.

No effect yet on AF, but I am not TTC, so that's ok with me. I use Bio-Identical Progesterone each month to bring on AF.

Isn't it nice to find something that actually helps? Yeah Met!
