I have been taking Nature's Way Vitex since the past 5 days. Started with one 400mg capsule for the first 2 days, increased it to two per day for the next 2 days, and then finally to three per day (I started with 1 because I read somewhere to slowly increase the dose over a week). And believe me, I see results from day one!! I have been bleeding continuously since 2 yrs with very very occasional 3-4 days of no bleeding in between. It would range from spotting to medium to heavy bleeding. I was diagnosed with PCOS last month and was prescribed Yaz, but I didn't use it and started Vitex instead. Just before starting Vitex, I was bleeding heavily for more than 2 weeks and now it gradually decreased to absolutely no bleeding at all. I don't know for sure if its because of Vitex though, but I am 90% confident it is. I think I have to wait until AF comes again. But wanted to share this with u all.

Thanks for your story! Your situation sounds very similar to mine. The only difference is that I've been spotting for about 6 months, with occasional heavy flows for long periods of time, and one or two days without bleeding at all. I've been wanting to try Vitex for about a week, but most of the information I've been reading says its good for TTC. I'm not at that stage in my life just yet, so I was a little concerned about taking this herb. But I think I'm going to try it, starting next week. Thanks!

Hey, I just wanted to let u know that the bleeding didn't stop completely (I thought it did stop when I posted that message). Nevertheless, it is just spotting lightly and I am sure it will stop completely. That's a major relief considering I was bleeding for 2 years.

Also, I am not going to TTC until at least 2 more years. Vitex is basically useful to balance your hormones which automatically helps if you want to TTC. So, go ahead and give it a try!! I am sure it will help u.
