Default I'm addicted to MET

I've been on Met for about a month now, and already I have noticed some favourable effects of the drug. Weight coming off slowly, energy level is up and my acne has cleared up.

Now I'm scared that my doctor will take me off when everything seems to be ok? My question is, can met be a life long drug? I don't want to go off of it, as I'm scared everything will come back. I depend on it already. To me it's a miracle drug, and in some sense I'm addicted to it.
My doctor hasn't mentioned taking me off when things are back in sync, but I don't want to ask him in fear he'll tell me it's time to go off of it. Any insight would be great!

My RE told me that I would probably be on the drug the rest of my life!

My gyn said she doesn't want me on it when I get PG but immediately retracted with "but it has been shown to lower the rate of miscarriage". But Summer-Girl's RE is on track, this is life-long type drug. If your doctor says he wants to take you off it (I don't think he/she will), you could resort to begging and pleading

I was also told this was a life-long drug. Your doctor shouldn’t want to take you off just because things are becoming normal. I feel if I stop this drug that all my bad symptoms will come right back. Make sure you have a doctor that respects your opinion so the together you guys can come up with what’s best for you. If you’re not happy with his/her decision find a better doctor.

Thanks guys, you've helped. I think I'm just worried that he may take me off. When I have finally found something that works, I fear the unexpected.
