I had no clue where to post this--- But I thought here might be a good place... I've used SULFUR ONCE --it was in that proactive acne mask as the active ingredient..and my face turned red, swelled, dried out, peeled, and I think even blistered.....I've never used anything with sulfur again. Unfortunately, I ordered (online) Alterna Anti-dandruff shampoo and the conditioner...and pretty big bottles of it too. To my surprise, one of the conditioners first ingredients is sulfur???? I can't send it back, do I throw it or give it away, or do you think I should try it? I'ma fraid where it touches the scalp or runs down my face/skin that I'm going to have a horrid reaction..but I dunno if this is the 'same' sulfur, or using it on your scalp will cause the same problems as using it on the face.. does anyone have any suggestions?

I would not use it, it sounds like it could be ugly. Sorry, I know Alterna products aren't cheap and that's probably not what you want to hear, but a visit to the dermatologist won't be cheap either, it's just not worth the risk.
