This misdemeanor thing is going to be the death of me....

The HS agency got our criminal background checks done but didn't tell me whether anything was on them or not (don't know why not). They still need DH to write a letter explaining these stupid speeding tix that happened TEN years ago! Ok, I could understand if it was even in the last 5 years but 10 years ago he was 21 for crying out loud, we do a lot of stupid things when we're in our teen/early adult years! I really don't think it's even going to show up on the background check b/c we went to 2 counties and there was no record of it, only at the police station!

It's driving me crazy.....I can't wait till this part is over!

In other news, we got a gift from FIL tonight for Aimee. It's the shadow box and it's all post office stuff in it. He works for the post office and has been saving it for us (he got it last year) to put in the nursery so when the baby looks at it she can think of him It doesn't really go w/ the room but that's ok b/c it's from him so we'll put it up. It's cute, it has these little pkgs, a mail bag, a big postage stamp, mail slots. There's a big opening at the bottom so we're going to put pics of FIL (I should get some of them in his uniform if he'll let me!).

Sorry about those darn tickets. I hope DH writes that letter soon so you can stop stressing over it. Crazy process, isn't it?!

As for you FIL---he's a keeper! I wish my dad or my FIL would think of something special for aany of my girls! That's so nice of him. I'd hang it even though it didn't match too!

Yup, my FIL is a keeper....it's just that he's not a very good father but he'll make a great grandfather! (He just needs to learn how to control his own kids so they don't run wild and grow up to be responsible citizens....to this day I still don't know how DH got out of that house in 1 piece and makes a decent living when they let their younger 2 do anything they want!)

It's getting even longer.... Just when I thought this whole stupid misdemeanor business was over (which we're really not even thinking it's a misdemeanor anymore) we have more chasing around to do! Not only have we already gotten letters from 2 counties, a police station, & a letter that Chris wrote but now we have to get a court letter stating that the case never went to court! This is getting stupid now!

And their still waiting for our FBI checks for some reason....it's been over a month for that!
