Somebody kick my phone and the caller id show the adoption agency next time it rings instead of just some stupid telemarketer! It's been 3 weeks since they told us 3-4 weeks, I can't take much more!

I broke down and called the program director at the agency today. She told me she hasn't heard anything yet, other than that their representative in Colombia thinks that we should be VERY close. She said she talked to Lucia (Colombia rep) last night and Lucia specifically mentioned us and that she thought we should hear something maybe in this batch of referrals. She said they hold their meetings on Wednesdays and work as far down the list as they can, depending on how much discussion the individual cases require (special needs and older kids she said they tend to talk a lot about to make sure everyone agrees it is a good match). She said they usually don't release the results of the meeting until Monday or Tuesday of the next week. SO, it's POSSIBLE we will hear something today, but probably not until at least Monday or Tuesday. She said if it's not in this batch, then probably the next one, but it all really depends on how fast they can get down the list at their meetings.
I KNOW this is going to happen, in my head I do. My heart.. I'm not so sure it really believes some days.

Laparoscopy 03/11/03; found multiple fibroids and endometriosis
3 rounds of Gonal-F injections with IUI's -- all a BUST!!
Myomectomy on July 8, 2003 to remove fibroids.

Nothing yet Lucia called the Bogota office and asked what was going on beause she thought we should have had our assignment by now. They told her they had not had any babies to assign for the last 2 meetings. That was Tuesday. Wednesday was another meeting, so we're hoping maybe they had some this time. If so, we should hear from them Monday or Tuesday. If not... I guess we just keep waiting week to week
