Hi All,

I've scoured these boards to find others with these issues, but can't find anything...

Does this happen to any of you:

- Severe GERD / Heartburn: Ive been popping between 2-4 zantacs a day, sometimes 2-3 at once. Nothing works, and when on met, I could drink a glass of water and get dibilitating heartburn

- Dehydration from all of the GI side effects

- Mood changes: Become v. depressed on Met, it goes away when I stop

- My food does not digest to the point of where i've made myself throw up just to get it out of my stomach. Unless i'm eating liquids, anything I eat sits in my stomach for hours and hours, sometimes up to a full day, and it feels like i've swallowed a bowling ball. it's painful and the gas is unbelievable


Ive told my RE about all of these issues I'm having and she claims that she's never heard of any of them except the stomach cramps.

None of my symptoms have ever been so severe. The most I ever really have is some GI issues, but those always resolve themselves. They mainly rear their head if I miss a day or two or medicine. Sorry to hear of the troubles.
