Hmm... Apparently i've got a mild case.. i was just diagnosed this morning.. i'm not quite sure what to think as yet. My testosterone levels are really low.. which is wierd given the amount of hair I suffer from.. but my FSH and LH are reversed.. neither are very high.. is that a bad thing or good? I don't know too much about it. my LH is only 3...
i'm not to sure on the other hormones..
I'm hoping this is the correct diagnosis.. and that the met my specialist prescribed is going to help some of my symptoms.. it's been such a long time i've had to deal with the pain and stress of erratic painful and abnormal menstration.
Hi!
I have not yet been diagnosed with PCOS (although I have most of the symptoms) but I got my results back from my blood test and I also have a very low LH (6.4) and a low FSH (3.2) and I'm so confused. This doesn't seem to be the norm for PCOS. I don't meet with my doctor for a couple of weeks so until then I'll just have to wait. It sounds like your results didn't keep your doctor from diagnosing you as having PCOS so maybe this isn't as uncommon as it seems. Wish I knew more.
