I had lost a pack of my pills and so purchased another pack of Yasmin. Then of course I found the others, anyway to make a long story short I took an extra week of pills. Somedays I wonder how I make it through the day, I am a space case anymore. Is this gonna have any bad side effects? Or will I just have a long cycle? I was taking them again for the 3 months to regulate and then go off and start tryingfor #2 so I hope I didn't just really screw things up. Yikes

An extra week won't hurt. It might not even make a difference in your cycle.

I took an extra month of bcp without stopping between because I didn't want to have period when I went to a friends wedding. My period my much heavier and I was way more crampy that usual but other than that it was ok. I have a little plastic weekly pill box that I got at the drug store. I fill it up on the weekend for the rest of the week so that I am reminded every morning to take my pills. I keep it near my toothbrush so I don't forget. Since you are TTC I don't know how that will affect things so you may have to check with your doctor about that.
