 I'm New
Hello All!!!!!!!!!!
I am new to the site and new to PCOS. I have had ovarian cyst off and on since I was 14, I am now 29 and have been diagnosed with PCOS since 12/22/04. I was very disturbed to find out that I had PCOS after countless synograms and countless missed periods. I have a 6 year old daughter and recently became interested in having another child. Since I don't have a regular cycle, I knew this may be a problem. My doctor has prescribed me Provera before, but now she has also prescribed me Metformin. I have not started the met as of yet, but plan to begin this regimen in the New Year. Is there anyone out there who could give me any advice. I am a little depressed and not quite sure how to handle this new found diagnosis. I am a very slim person, and not quite sure how I fit in with PCOS. |
