Default I'm new.......
Hey everyone-
I'm new at this. ( Someone needs to let me know how to post my own message instead of replying ) Anyways, I was diagnosed with PCOS 1 week ago today. I starting taking MetFormin 500mg. A little history.... I'm 22 years old. I first went to the gyn when I was 17 because I missed my period for 3 months. She put me on birth control to put me back on schedule. It worked. Then I got off the pill and had my period every other month up until about 7 months ago. So to make a long story short she diagnosed me as infertile and sent me to a sepcialist. My new doctor is wonderful. And now a week after starting metformin, I have started my period. Is that weird? Somone give me a lil; insight as to the possibilties. I'm not on Met. But there is a section on the forum about medications that you could post to. I know that the research i've done on PCOS and MET says that it's not completely impossible to start that quick, it's like a kick start for your hormones. Hope this helps.
