Hi I'm 22 years old and I was diagnosed with PCOS a few months ago. When I was 17 I started to loose my hair on top of my head and gained a spare tire around my waste... For five years I tried everything and didn't know what was wrong with me.. I went from dr. to dr. and was constantly misdiagnosed and put on anti-depressants for whatever reason

Anyways finally five years too late I got diagnosed when my PCOS is horrible to the extreme.. My life is miserable, everyday I wish and pray I could go back in time and known what I know now to have prevented this disaster

I've made some posts helping others earlier based on my research, but I decided to put up a proper intro today lol!

hi im new too all this and was diagnosed with pcos 2 weeks ago.
my periods were never regular and was put on the pill when i was 13.
last december i stopped taking the pill and still periods verry irratic and was not ovulating. we have been ttc for a year now and have just been given clomid but provera to bring on my period to start.

Hi loolabell, in addition to the medications.. I've read that some women have gotten preg by changing their diet and herbs

I'm not sure if you've already tried this or not, but it's worth a shot... Try a high protien low carb diet (GI DIET) Also be sure to take multi-vitamins and flaxseed or fish oil

Everytime I do I always get my period

These teas Women's Liberty Tea and Women's Toner Tea can also help balance your hormones and bring on your period and ovulation but you'd have to stop after you get preg.

Hi there I'm new here, and I have some questions about IVF. I have an appointment with the doctor to discuss what to do, and when to start. Im extremaly scared because I don't know what to expect. I know it's going to cost around $10 000.00 If the first time It doesn't work do you have to pay that all over again? How long does the whole procedure take like from the time you start taking the drugs?
