Hello everyone!
I have been recently diagnosed with PCOS. I have a 2:1 LH:FSH ratio. I also had elevated levels of male androgens and my dr. put me on a steroid Dexamethasone at the beginning of January. The levels of androgens have decreased to normal levels.
This is a Clomid cycle for me, 100 mg. I am doing daily u/s. I'm CD11 right now and my follicles do not seem to be growing at all. I'm guessing at this point, that I'm not responding to the Clomid. I'm scared about going up to the next level, 150 mg for fear of rejection and right now I really don't want to start injectibles. I don't ovulate on my own very well. Most of my cycles have been induced by Provera since we started trying in May.
My question, given my ratio and all other hormone levels are now normal, what options do I have to get me to ovulate? I don't have insulin resistance.. could I take Metaforin??? Is Femera better than Clomid?
