Hey guys... I just found this board a couple days ago. I had a hysteroscopy yesterday. I was diagnosed with PCOS a few years ago, then I had a baby and everything got so much worse. Nothing my body did was predictable. My GY finally decided to do a hysteroscopy and yesterday he found that not only did i have PCOS but I had endometriosis along with it. There was some flap that was supposed to serve as protection that was attaching to my large intestine and other things...my tube was partially blocked. I'm in horrible pain today, but maybe getting that all cleaned up will help. Its been a struggle lately. I'm just thankful I have my beautiful baby girl :o). Over the last 6 months I've had so many dr's tell me how lucky I was to have her, because of all my health problems including hashimotos thyroiditis which also puts me at high risk for a miscarriage. Like I said its been a struggle...but hopefully since the drs are finally finding out what is going on for sure , something will get done !!!
Welcome! Sounds like you got a lot on your plate. You shouldn't be uncomfortable for too long. I had severe cramps for about a day..then I was OK after that. Anyway..feel free to ask any questions or vent when you need to. Keep us updated.
