Greetings everyone,
Name is Jen (or Rae, whichever you prefer). I'm 27 years old, 6' and 210lbs. I have yet to be officially diagnosed with PCOS, but with all the doctor visits, the Planned Parenthood visits, they say with 99% certainty I have it. I've been diagnosed borderline diabetes, high testosterone levels, strange periods (I would often go for a year straight, then not have one for 6 months, then go non-stop for 3...) I first went to PPIN (The Indiana one) for BirthControl, because I knew it would be the only thing to regulate me. And it has. I am still unable to get pregnant.
I've gotten used to the fact that I can never have a child, and while it bothers me greatly, I understand that it is my lot in life and to just live vicariously through other babies!
I happened across this site accidentally (reading CrimeLibrary no less!) and thought I needed to be here. To be among those who understand the pain of our bodies hating us. To be among those who have to deal with unwanted facial hair, or weight gain, or ghastly, sporactic periods... At least I know, someone will understand me here.
