Default I'm new here, and I need some help.

Hi,
I'm new here and I've not been able to find this on the site if it's here, but do we have a list of foods that we can eat for successful weight loss? I've lost weight before on weight watchers but then it stopped, and I've gained....I need some help desperatly!

I apologize if it's somewhere on the site, but please direct me to where it is if we have it. Thank you!

Chesney

I personally am not sure if we do or do not. I know that some people say to eat a high protein low carb diet and if you do that, you can easily just search that on the internet. Otherwise, im not real sure. I dont know if there is an actual diet that you can follow or foods that'll help you better than others but from what I've seen, its just a high proten low carb diet thing.

Welcome to SC! I have lost weight successfully reducing my carb intake. I do NOT do low carb. What I do is limit the amount of flour or bread products I intake. That means pasta, bread, anything make with flour. If I do decide to eat it, I eat whole wheat. I have been very successful with adding more fruits and veggies. Also, lentils, red beans, kidney beans at least once a day. Next, my portions for each serving on my plate is the size of my clench fist. I make lunch my biggest meal, breakfast my second largest, and dinner my lightest.

Lastly, I must add some exercise to my day or I will NOT lose weight. I can eat the same diet straight, but only lose 20 lbs over 6 months. Once I exercise, I can start to lose more.

I forgot one more important thing - water. In the past I dropped 75 lbs - I was told then by my dr to drink 1/2 oz for every lb that I weigh.

Hope that helps! Good luck.
