I want to my fertility doctor this evening and my blood work shows that I am ovulating!
My husband and I are so excited. My doctor sais that I responded to the medicine quickly, I started taking met on April 21st and I had only one cycle of Clomiphene.
Has anyone had this happen to them? And how soon after did you get pregnant? Can you give me any suggetions?
I thought it would take awhile before I would ovulate, so now I just need to stay positive!

Anniere ~ Congrats!! Looks like the same thing is working for me too. My new endo upped my dose of met/avandia at the end of Oct. I took Clomid in Nov & Dec and O'd but didn't get pg. We took a break from Clomid in Jan and got pg in Jan but had a m/c in March. Now I have had 2 cycles on my own since then and it looks like I O'd this last time. I am soooo hoping I can get pg on my own now!!!

CONGRATS!!! That's awesome! I didn't ovulate on met alone, but I'm 99% sure that I ovulated over the weekend after my first round of clomid. I have never ovulated before in my life (trust me, I never felt anything like I felt this weekend!) so I'm doin the happy dance for you and with you!!! Good luck!!!

Rebecca, I am so happy for you! I don't think that I felt anything, but my doctor said that I am ovulating. What did it feel like? I have never ovulated before.
Lots of baby dust to you and your husband.
I am going to ask this (sorry if I hijack your thread) but...how can you tell if you're ovulating. I used those OPKs and the lines never showed up for me....I tried temping...but that didn't work....what is the best way? My doc did a test that showed I did....but I guessed I miss calculated.....

Some people get pregnant after just one round of met and clomid, but for some it takes a few cycles. Goodluck to you, hope this is your month!

Well, I don't chart or temp because of my work schedule (I work a rotating shift of days and nightshift...and I get up at 4:30 am on days!!! It's too hard for me to get up much earlier than that to temp). I'll tell you what I felt this weekend. About Saturday I was feeling AF-like cramps that started out pretty mild then got stronger as the day went on. Then on Sunday I still had the cramps and was feeling some throbbing twinging pain in my right ovary area. It lasted most of the day. Along with this I was getting some hot flashes...not bad ones, but definitely could tell a shift in body temp. Both days when we were BD'ing my cervix felt swollen and tender, it pretty much hurt to have sex but we did it anyway! LOL The twingies went away, but I'm still having mild cramping and I'm feeling pretty bloated and a heaviness in my abdomen. I'm just excited that I'm ovulating...I've never ever ovulated before and I'm just so excited that this might actually work!!!
