Ok so I think I'm mid cycle atm, and since yday have been in so much pain! Today its really bad I'm struggling to walk. Thing is yday the pain was on my left side, today its on the right. I don't understand this cos I thought only one ovary ovulated each month?? Is the pain from cysts? Do all women with PCOS get this pain??

I get pain in my left side continuously now since one of the cysts on my ovaries burst, it wasnt a pleasant experience, I couldnt even get out of bed for about 3wks cos everytime I moved I went dizzy and faint.

Gosh that sounds really horrible. How did you know the cyst had burst? Did you have an u/s or did you just know from the pain?? xx

I get pain around mid-cycle as well, but it's never that bad anymore. You can't really make sure that a cyst has burst unless you visit a doctor, which I highly recommend. I used to get unbearable pain mid-cycle, and it was due to a really big cyst on the ovary that I had removed.

You should definitely schedule an immediate visit to your doctor.

I used to get unbearable pain during mid-cycle, and it was because I had a big cyst that hadn't been ruptured. You can't be sure that the cyst has ruptured so it's best not to jump to conclusions.
I got the cyst successfully removed and now I only get mild cramps mid-cycle.

I suggest immediately getting an ultrasound since it sounds like you have a cyst that needs to be removed asap. Don't worry, it's really easy to remove them. The doctor will either give you pills or suggest a small surgical procedure. Hopefully it's nothing big.
