We went with our little birthmother to the doctor today and the baby's head is down VERY low! I'm no expert but I think things are looking like they may happen a little sooner than 3 weeks.
I'm struggling with so many emotions. I think I've worried myself sick. At this point I think I have bronchitis but who knows.
I'm so conflicted by my emotions. I'm excited about possibly becoming a mother soon, and I'm scared that the birthparents will change their minds at the last minute and then I'll be so sad. How did you guys get through this?
I guess this is just a lesson in letting go of the things you have no control over and trusting that God the universe or whatever is looking out for your best interest.
It's definitely hard though.

I knew the birth of your bubblet was coming up soon as your BM and I are due about the same time. You sound totally normal to me! A frazzled mummy-to-be!!!
Of course you have all these conflicting emotions - your life is about to change in the most wonderful way you've ever imagined but it's still not 'concrete' enough to allow you to exhaaaale... and just enjoy it all.
I wish you and DH loads of luck, love and strength from Australia and wish the BM happy labour vibes.
All the best!!

I know it is so hard to hold on to that dream but have faith that things will go as planned. I hope you can relax and have a special night out just for you--and pamper yourself too--because pretty soon that is going to be the last thing on your mind!
Best of luck--can't wait to hear the happy news!!!

Thanks everybody!!!! I'm really trying to stay positive but it is a struggle at times. It makes me realize how important having a positive attitude is and how I might need to work on this area of my life. Also how maybe my attitude or stress might be affecting my health.
Hopefully next month at this time I'll be a mommy of a healthy happy baby girl!
