We met with our agency today to give them our application for our second adoption. The waiting list has 28 couples, however, we are open to any race/heritage and gender so we are put on a second waiting list that only consists of 2 other couples.

Now, I am nervous. It could happen very quickly for us. I hope we are ready! I worry about my daughter who is only 21 months old. She doesn't talk yet and requires a lot of attention. Will it be okay for her if our baby is born within the next couple of months?

I am sure your daughter will have no problems adjusting, just make sure you spend lots of mom-daughter time with her same with your husband. Make her feel extra special as the big sister.

how exiting. im sure there will be issues, but that is normal with any child going from the only child to sharing time.
im sure you will be able to help her through the process, you sound like a great mom.
