Default I'm thankful for .....

My daughter. I always wanted a baby and now I know just how lucky I am to have her. She is beautiful, caring, giving, and intelligent. She is also snotty, smartmouthed, and rude. She loves to sing, read, and play. She loves to go to church. She hates getting up in the morning and hates to clean her room. She argues with every word I say (and isn't even a teenager yet!). She is the best of her father and I and she also gives us glimpses of our worst parts occassionally. I wouldn't change a hair on her head. She is perfect. She is imperfect. She is the reason I am able to face each day and say that I will make the best of it that I can. She is the one who taught me what unconditional love really is.

My husband When we met I hated the idea of marriage. Had just gotten out of a really abusive relationship and had no intention of getting involved in any relationship again. Then I met this guy who I knew I would marry someday. We were just kids then and have had to grow up togehter while still being mom, dad, and spouse. He was my world and I trusted him implicitly until the day he broke my heart. It took a while but it mended and then I broke his. We're still together after almost eleven (nine married) years and our love is stronger than I ever imagined. The best part is we are still friends. i still sit back and am amazed that he loves me. I still think that every other woman who meets hims wants him. He still makes me laugh even when I am furious with him. He is truly the other half of me.

My husband's family Who could have guessed that I would be so lucky to get such great in laws. They have taught me acceptance and I have taught them praticality.

And my cysters... You have helped me learn more about me. You have let me have fun getting to know you, and let me give advice (which I love to do) and basically let me put my two cents in when I wanted. You have taught me that I'm not the only one out there with this heartbreaking, frustrating, pain in the butt syndrome. You gave me a place to turn for answers and knowledge. And one of you even got me reading the Bible. Thank you

Your post made me all teary eyed, the way you talk about your daughter it is so obvious that you love her and I find that so sweet and endearing. Take care of yourself and best of luck to you and your family.
