Default I'm thinking about just forgetting about Vitex and solely sticking with Soy?

Help, ladies? I posted a new thread about this but am wanting responses so I'm going to post the same thing here:
I have been taking Soy Isoflavones for 3 cycles now. I did this in order to induce ovulation, since I have very irregular periods. The first cycle, I had to induce a period with Prometrium and then took soy on cd 3-7. The second cycle, which was 30 days later, I had spotting and do not consider that a regular flow, as it lasted for 3 days and was brown, not red. Nonetheless, I still took the soy capsules like last time and lo and behold, 28 days later I get a "real" period. For once in a long time, I didn't have to take Prometrium to induce it, it just came on "it's own".
That period has been gone for about a week now and I decided to take Vitex, to just "make sure" that I ovulate and get another one. Although now I'm starting to worry about the interactions of soy and Vitex. Like last cycle, I took soy on cd 3-7 but then I started taking Vitex starting on cd 11, until now. I'm worried I'm screwing up my body. Especially because I also take Metformin and Dexamethasone.
I'm thinking about just forgetting about Vitex and solely sticking with Soy. What do we think? I hope it'll be ok for me to stop taking Vitex cold turkey. Then again, I've only been taking it for 3 days.
Any opinions would be appreciated!

GEG - it's ok to stop Vitex. if you found soy works for you, i would stick with soy... use vitex, when you feel you need something else.

Thanks for responding so quickly. I decided to just stop Vitex for now. No use in fixing something that isn't broke, you know?
Thanks for your suggestion. Hopefully the soy, Metformin and Dex is all I'll need to have regular cycles!

With vitex I had to take it a certain way...I think I took it when I was done my period...then I took it until a few days before my next expected one. If I didnt do that I seemed to just not get the period or spot. Something about vitex raising progesterone.
