I may be being slightly dramatic... ...but I think Dara has German Measles!!!!! URGH!
I was getting her dressed this morning and took off her vest and her whole back and tummy is covered in millions of tiny little spots. I looked closer and the spots go up the back of her neck and onto her head. Also some on her arms. Slightly raised off her skin and quite red.
She hasn't been herself for a few days, but she's had a terrible cold and I put it down to that. Today she's cranky as can be, which is totally out of character for her, and just wants to snuggle into me all the time. The snuggles are lovely, but I wish she wasn't sick.
Poor little thing. She's refused her lunch too, so something isn't right.
The doc will definitely think I'm a stalking lunatic...I've booked an appointment later this afternoon for Dara. This will be the fourth time I've seen him in a week!!! eek!

Shellie - it could be heat rash I suppose. I have been keeping her snuggled up warm because of the cold. But when she had heat rash in the summer it was in much smaller patches. I dunno!
Eva - I know that that's what they're there for, but I hate to think that they might think I'm just a neurotic mother. But I know my girl, and she's not right.

Hello
It's neither chicken pox or german measles! Her cold has now turned into a nasty chest infection. The rash is all part of it. She needs anti-biotics! I just didn't realise she was so ill...it was only late this morning that she seemed to turn cranky - up until now she's been smiley as usual really. Anyway, hopefully the anti-biotics will do the trick. I'm really anti anti-biotics, but I don't think she's going to get rid of this by herself.

Oh dear poor little thing. Keep her all wrapped up nice and warm and just let the antibiotics do the work.

I hope Dara gets better soon!! I'm pretty anti anti-biotic too but there's somethings that need the extra help to go away.

Awww I hope Dara is feeling better really soon. Extra cuddles should help speed it up for it, but also in the long run it will help her immunity
