Exclamation i might have found the problem....

ok i was looking online tonight and found this site. i think i might have low or poor adrenal function. the web page had a list and i had most of what was on the list. i have been having pains near my kindney region but after ruling out any kindney problems...i found out the adrenal glands are near the kidneys and that might be causing the pain. a lot of the symptoms of low adrenal function are that of PCOS or SYNDROME X. i know adrenal glands effect the sex hormones like testosterone which is why my testosterone is high. i really want to go talk to a doctor about this but first...does anyone know about this? does anyone know what is good to take to help with adrenal function???? i think i might have stumbled onto what is wrong with me....hope to hear back!!!!

Adrenal Hyperplasia is a condition that frequently comes up in research concerning PCOS. I'm not sure if this is what you're looking for, but it may be worth looking into.

Here is one article that mentions it. "Adrenal Hyperplasia" is highlighted in red: Androgens (PCOS Mentioned)

To find more research, click on the search button, and search on "adrenal hyperplasia"...be sure to LIMIT your search to the Research Articles forum before starting the search.

Good luck!

Kat

Here's a great article which discusses all sorts of adrenal problems related to excess androgens:
HIRSUTISM AND OTHER SIGNS OF ANDROGEN EXCESS: PCOS and Acanthos Nigricans mentioned
