I would request another u/s as well as more b/w. It's possible that the u/s was just done too early. Not trying to get your hopes up but it is possible that they were wrong and it was just too early.

Forgive me if I'm mistaken, but from what I have heard or been told here goes. I always thought if your beta was going up that all is well - NOT. Apparently the yolk sac nourishes the embryo or something until the placenta is fully formed(approx. 12wks) and the body behaves as if it the fetus is growing. Once it is time for the placenta to take over it then realizes there is no baby and then you start to miscarry. I am not an expert so if my info is incorrect please correct me. That's what a nurse told me when I asked about it. I have also been told that a baby does start to develop. I was upset my first m/c because I read somewhere that there is no baby at all. That isn't always the case. Take care.(((HUGS)))

Okay call me an optimist or ignorant but I would keep taking the progesterone. It is very possible the U/S was done too early.

A heartbeat should be seen by 6.5 or 7 weeks.

Sometimes the HCG level will go up even if the pregnancy is not going to survive. Mine kept going up, just not as fast as they should.

Keep us posted!!!!! *hugs*

i really hope things change friday. your numbers look like pregnancy, but they can be deceiving. it's so hard to know until you see that heartbeat. i don't trust u/s to see anything until 7 weeks, and of course you have to take late ovulation into account as a possibility.
best wishes,
sheri

I hope it was just too early. With my last m/c, my numbers were higher than they ever had been. They rised and doubled like they should except for the very end, when we kinda knew there was a problem.

I it works out for you.

I think you should keep taking the suppositories. Once you have another U/S, you can always stop again.

((hugs)), sweetie.
