Default I need help with test results...

K my doctor said everything was normal but...here's what my value's are...(are these ranges a little off?)(In a 28 day pack of Tri-Sprintec BCP's I was in the middle of the third week of pills, but my doc didn't ask me where i was in my cycle) Shouldn't I have a near perfect 1:1 LH/FSH ratio if I've been on BCP's for 3 years?

Free Testosterone .4 ng/dL Range: .3-1.9
Total Testosterone 49 ng/dL Range 8-60
Fasting Insulin 14.0 uU/mL Range: 2.6 - 25
LH 7.0 mIU/mL Range for nonovulating 1-16
FSH 4 mIU/mL Range for nonovulating 3-20
TSH 3.77 uIU/mL Range: .40 - 5.00
(I'm on 75 mcg of levothyroxine, i was told this 3.77 was good and to stay on the same dose)

I'm really worried about having PCOS or really any hormonal problems...I have an extrememly high chance of having heart disease at a young age...(my mom had a 5-way bypass at age 40)...I would appreciate any replies..

i am not a Dr but from what I can see

7.0 LH
4 FSH

These should be even (or there abouts, mine is something like 3.8 and 4.2. So I would say this is vering towards not being good. PCOS people normally have LH 3x the FSH (or there abouts - again I am not a Dr).

Also your Free Testosterone might be in the normal levels, but it is on the high side. With PCOS even on the high side of normal is not cool (mine is always on the upper end of the scale) so it pays to keep tabs on that

I hope this helps a little... I would have some concerns with what your results show, but I would say you might only have a mild case atm? Have you had a scan yet?

Nope, no scan. My ob-gyn doesn't think i have PCOS(even though she never took tests) and my doctor now, thinks these test results are perfectly normal so it pretty much ends the conversation about PCOS...I'm thinking about going to an endo though

They have to do a scan to really get conclusive results, I would push for that if you can!

I would ask for a second opinion. Normally we know more about what's going on with our bodies than the doctors do. I knew for a couple years that all was not right with my body, and went to a couple different doctors who said it was normal to have wacky cycles when young. One OB/GYN was more concerned with working out my infertility than helping me. He did an ultrasound, and since I now know that I have PCOS based on an ultrasound, I know that I had it then, cause the ultrasound looked basically the same, but he wasn't even looking at that.
Sometimes it's best to get another opinion.

well currently my main problems are hairyness and acne...I'm on BCP so idk if that helps with my AF's but I normally had regular periods...so I kind of feel lost and left out...it seems that everyone on here skips or doesnt get their period and so it makes it a little more obvious they have PCOS...Mine before BP just lasted 7-9 days and were pretty heavy and it's really hard to gauge what's "normal" and what's not
