Herbs need a long time to work. I wouldn't personally jump over to NPC if you don't get AF. When I started using vitex my cycles shortened only by days at a time. Like this 70 days, 65 days, 49 days, 45 days, 42 days, 38 days, 35 days, 32 days (that's not exactly but similar to what happened). So as you can see it took many months to accomplish regular cycles. If you switch now to NPC then you are adding in a hormone when you are seeking at the same time for the vitex to balance your hormones, counterproductive in my opinion. Patience is definately a huge part of this but trust me it is worth it for the health and potential fertility that comes about from it.
You asked about those other herbs on your other thread.
Red Clover is a blood cleanser- it is best to drink this in tea form, but can also be used as capsule or tincture (follow the dosage on the bottle) I am not sure if there is any limit on when in the cycle you can take this. I wouldn't think so but someone else may have a differing opinion on that
FUR is a hormone balancer and uterine tonic. It is an endangered plant so it is harder to find locally (unless you have a good health food store) It can be taken throughout the cycle. Follow dosage on the bottle.
EPO is an essential fatty acid that helps with hormone balance. Some people feel this is best taken only post o but I take it throughout my cycle 1500mg per day (500mg 3x per day)
Red Raspberry leaf is a uterine tonic and highly nourishing for your entire body. It is best used in tea form.
Not familiar with the others.
A medicinal tea is actually called an infusion which is a very strong tea. It is 'usually' brewed for about 20 min or more and uses a lot of herb. I drink a nourishing blend daily which contains
2 parts oatstraw (good for stress)
2 parts Nettle (high vitamin-mineral content, also helps with blood sugar levels)
1 part Raspberry leaf
1/4 part stevia (this is an herbal sweetener which does not invoke a blood sugar response)
This is a very tasty blend and you can drink a number of cups per day. There are some sources online to buy the herbs but my personal favorite is mountainroseherbs.com
Hope something here has helped you,
