Ok, so here is the deal. When I was 14 my doctor told me that I had pcos. They never seemed too worried about it. So when I got older it made me wonder what it was. So I went back to the doc with some questions and they told me that I had nothing to worry about and they pretty much left it at that. Well Friday 5/21/04 I went to the hospital because I had started bleeding really really badly. Actully I have been bleeding since the day after Christmas so...but it got really bad. I had a lot of pain and was up most of the night using the potty. Anyways, at the hospital the doc told me that I have dysfunctional uterine bleeding. Now can anybody tell me anything thing about these two things together? Can you have both of these things? I am just so tried and need some answers. I would appreicate anything that anybody has to say so.......
Please please help me!! I feel like I am going crazy from all of this bleeding!

I dont have both of these problems, just the PCOS but i would imagine they can be intertwined.......i cant beleive the docs told you there was nothing to worry about!!! id say if you were bleeding almost 6 months id be worried! i hope all turns out well, keep us posted
