I need prayer..............

I won't go into too much, but we've run into some rough obsticles with the former employer I was with. to make a long story short I was harassed and before I could quit, was fired but was tricked into signing a resignation letter (what an idiot I am!!!!) which I thought was normal....but it was so I couldn't get unemployment.

I went to get my paycheck this week and got 8.11 and never got the other check. They tried to tell me they paid me already but I had a zeroxed copy. Then they tried to tell me they paid me ahead of time. Ok, I'll give them that, but if they did that, they never gave me the overtime.....so having the copy they didn't expect, they had to pay me at least 20hours of over time plus time and a half. Which gives us 200.00

The way the hours were done was not by sliding the card in, but by writing in on a piece of paper and faxing in to the home office. Its all a mess through this company. Then you don't sign that the check was taken. So basically I'm cooked....I have to take the 200.00. There's no way to fight this! Meanwhile rent is due and with each passing day they add 10.00., no ands ifs or buts. , I had my breakdown...never had one like this before.....ended up sick at the toilet brokedown begging God for mercy. ((This month has been terror with that place...not to mention I was humiliated by a grocery store who said I bounced a check....which ended up being someone with the same exact name as me, but with a different ss# in a different state...they cleared me but I was humiliated in front of customers and taken groceries away from me.)

I just need prayer......We're at a loss. DH's in School with crazy hours, he's at a dead end job, I've placed several applications in an economy thats laying people off left and right around here.....so I've made an appointment to a temp agency who can't get me in until Tues. of next week they're so booked. I'm down in the dumps and A home of our own let alone adoption looks miles away.....................................

I'm sorry things are going so rough for you and your family. I've worked for companies that do this kind of thing, and am always amazed that they are sneaky enough to get away with it. I hope you find a good job soon!

I will be honored to pray for you, Rebekah. You are such a support to others on this board and please know that you have my support. What a horrible situation! I have been in oppressive job situations as well and it can be so discouraging. I think it was horrible what they did. It just boggles my mind how people can be so cruel and uncaring to someone who has been a loyal worker. It's hard to see it now, but in the long run, you will be much better off without those jerks! And what an awful time for that mixup with the grocery store check! Unbelieveable that that would hit when that wasn't even your fault!

I am praying that you will find a much, much better job and that you will be able to move onward, away from this horrible situation without further conflict or complications.

I am praying for better days for you very, very soon!

Today I received the final check after MANY mishaps! I received the first check last Saturday which was supposed to have 20 hours of regular pay + overtime. I opened it up. I only received 10 hours. I just sat in total amazement and cried. Tues. was the Holiday and I knew nothing would be open, and rent was due on the 1st. Each passing day is 10.00 added on top of that.

After my cry I prayed (should have been the other way around...but I really needed that cry). I then called the office even though it was closed and let them know I had zeroxed copies of timesheets, and also ALL back statements of paystubs. I also had taped the conversation with the HO supervisor who advised me I'd be getting AT LEAST the 20 hours...because I knew I'd had problems thus far with the agency. I told them that if nothing was done about it by Wed. and I didn't get a call, I would be forced to go to the employment agency and file a grievance. DIDN'T I HEAR BACK FROM THEM 8am SHARP THE NEXT DAY. They said they'd overnight it. Well, instead of overnighting it to my address here in Ohio, they overnighted it to TX. But after all that, somehow seemed to get it here by 4pm today. PRAISE GOD for His Mercy!

This is one hurtle we're over, but there are bills we are now behind on that have slapped surcharges for being late......We're just praying for them......my email account was lost, but a new one has been found..lol, and well, God is Good! Thats all I keep telling myself. I need prayer for a bit of depression...I refuse to use drugs right now, I want to try to get through it without them.....I'm on enough meds to last me a lifetime and I just want to try to balance these hormones. Adding depression drugs to them will only cover the issue of hormonal imbalance which is causing all this. My husband and I are arguing like crazy because he's gone all the time and well, I'm supporting us, I'm paying the bills, balancing the books, trying to keep him accountable for certain things that he forgets at times and well....ladies I'm falling short! In my crisis today I just cried and cried and cried....then I got angry ...not at God but at Satan for making me think for an inkling of a second that God didn't love me enough, or I didn't do good enough, or It was Gods fault somehow.....so I started hollaring at the top of my lungs that Satan was under my feet! I started quoting scriptures like you wouldn't believe.....Now I come to this support....God knew what I needed!

Thanks so much for that! I honestly had no idea that even exhisted! I have another prayer request that could turn out to be a good thing., Ithought I'd start a new thread to host that prayer. This all seems to be coming together....but I still have no clue what Gods plans are and I've never felt so out of control in my life.lol He's definately taken me out of my "comfort zone". I pray I stay faithfull though and keep looking at Him!
