I've been on met for a few years now. I started out on 1000mg a month later I was bumped up to 1500mg and a month after that I was bumped up to 2000mg. It took met about 7 or 8 months to help with my AF's after I was on 2000mg. Mine were and are as heavy as yours are. I still have one very very very heavy day and the others are manageable. I have noticed that if I watch what I eat and not eat a lot of fat and carbs, my AF's aren't quite as bad. I would let your endo know what is going on. I hope this helps.
