Exclamation i need to vent/worried

I had adhesion removal and reconstruction of my Fallopian tubes 3 years ago, with hopes of getting pregnant. Well still no baby. I am on Metformin to regulate my insulin for PCOS and a by-monthly cycle Clomid (fertility drug). I am not on pain management for the adhesions. 4 weeks ago I had Severe abdominal pain and went to Emergency, at first I had the FLU... After giving me GRAVOL (I could have taken that at home) Then they didn't know why I was still vomiting, (ummm...still in pain maybe) they then thought I had appendicitis. When They took my Apendix it was odd shaped and in an unusual place up against my bowel and found out that I had a Ruptured Ovarian Cyst, most of my abdominal cavity was full of fluid and inflamed. I had a normal flow following the surgery, and my OBGYN told me to skip a that month of CLOMID. Now I should be on my next flow and I am now 4 days late, no so unusual for me except for the past year (since met) I have been pretty perfect, not missing months and running 27 - 29 days! I have an appointment 4 hours away this Tuesday with a specialist at the womens clinic. Well I am worried what he's going to say. We have been trying to get pregnant for the better part of 10 years. Seeing doctors for 6. (I'm only 29) I know that it can't be the end, but its $10,000 for IVF here and my insurance only pays once 80%.
Thanks for letting me rant a little.
Jen

Keep us posted on what you find out on Tuesday. I too have struggled with the infertility for 9 years, more than 6 in constant treatment. We have since adopted a beautiful boy and I finally found a great doctor, and I would still love to become pregnant, but at this point in time after all these years, I just want to feel better and somewhat normal. You'll be in my prayers.
