I ovulated last cycle, but not this one. :(

I'm depressed about it.

Oh well.

I'm going to try taking 2 d-chiro-inositols per day during my follicular phase this cycle, and see what happens.

It's so disheartening.

I ovulated late last month. I was under a tremendous amount of stress and got put on high dose steroids, which monkey with your hormones. Can you think of anything externally that might have affected your cycle? Also I know some women ovulate better from one ovary rather than the other. I know it doesn't go left right left right, but it may be that one side is more consistent. Did you not get af? or did you get af and not other signs of ovulation? How are you traking signs? temp? cervical mucous? while those signs are good they are not infallible.

I just got my period today, cd 30. On cd 14, I felt my ovaries really swelling up, but there was no release, no "ping". Last month, I felt a very precise little ping, and exactly 14 days later, I got my period.

I also know that I have a long history of anovulatory cycles, so it's no surprise, sorry to say.

I think I ovulated last month because I had just come off of a 4 month shutdown, and I've heard that after a shutdown, your ovaries are ready to ovulate.

I'm going to have to start temping. I've tried before, but my sleep schedule is so erratic that I don't trust the results. But I am going to have to learn to get up at the same time every day. It's so hard for me.

As for cm, I got a few little dribbles here and there during the last two weeks of my cycle, but then again, I got a little last month too, when I definitely ovulated.

This is hard. And to add injury to insult, I have cramps. Oy!
