Hello girls! As you all know today yesterday was my birthday! I turned the big 2-0! LOL I had a great birthday! But let me tell you girls something that happened! IT WAS SO WONDERFUL! OK. I went over to my boyfriends grandmothers house to see him. I knew that he had something special planned but I didnt know what....well when I got over there I pulled up and saw that my mom and my sister were there. I went in and when I got in...he had it all decorated in there...BANNERS AND ALL. HEHE Well anyways I went in and sitting on the table were some roses, a little license plate with his and my name on it . I also had some presents on there and cake. and a little basket filled with chocolates. Well then I opened up some presents from my mom and dad, and sister and all.....then my boyfriend gave me a sheet of paper where he had typed something up for me......I read it and it said this........

With this I present you this promise ring. Then he gave me the ring and said I love you!!!!


I WAS LIKE AWWWWW! I almost cried.....but I held it in cause there were some other people around....then I hugged him and kissed him and hugged him and kissed him and oh did I mention that I hugged and kissed him? LOL

GOD HAS TRULY BLESSED ME!!!!!!

I LOVE THAT MAN OF MINE! HEHE....I have included a pic of us so that you guys can see us!

What a story!! I have to say that He is definately a keeper!!

You are truely blessed with a loving family as well as someone who loves you deeply enough that He would save himself for you for marriage. Someone to share that deep intimacy of Faith and spiritual commitment!

My DH and I met in college from a friend who led me to Christ and brought me to a Brothers and Sisters in Christ club meeting...where we became friends. At the time i was dating a British Bloke and had planned to move to England. Little did I know that when I got over there I found myself empty (not knowing God) I wasn't headed anywhere, and during the stroke of midnight on the Millenium, I went outside to watch the fireworks and prayed to God to come to know and understand Him, and for that Godly man to eventually come into my life. The next day I was on a flight back home to my family and friends, I accepted Christ the end of January with my friend by my side, that February my now DH gave me a Bible as a gift and I finally knew i was inlove with Him. It was the most precious gift anyone could have ever given me.

Let me start by telling you that a friendship and marriage based on a foundation of Christ will last through eternity!! There is nothing like it. Even during the frustrating times, we pray together and help each other understand where we're coming from. God always comes first and I wouldn't have it any other way.

You are on the right road, I just wish I had the foundation that you have at your age........I didn't accept Christ into my life until I was 25, and lost my virginity at 21 just to get it out of the way because I heard so many rumours about the first time. One thing I will say is there's nothing like making love to the man your married to and though at times I look back at the mistake I made before I became Christian, I see the new person I am when God found me. " I once was lost, but now I'm found, was blind, but now I see"
