I went to surgery today all ready to go in the IV was put in place and I thought I was going to die seriously I think I work myself up more than anything. I was sitting there thinking I better go pee before I go in (I was 30 minutes away of going in) and I went to the bathroom and I saw this Hcg test on the sink...I thought OK I am the only woman in this facility right now and I SAW 2 LINES PEOPLE, 2 LINES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I went back to my room and sat on my bed and then I asked (and not even excited cuz I am so used to me being told BFN right) I said is that my HcG in the bathroom and she said no so I was like oh ok I accepted it no problem about 10 minutes later she comes in (the nurse) and says can your family leave for a minute and I said oh were ready to go into surgery and she said well actually the anstesologist (sp?) needs to talk to you and I was like oh ok and she sits down next to me and says Rhonda that WAS your HCG in the bathroom and you are pregnant and I started to cry becasue I stopped using the progestrone AGAIN 5 days ago all I could think of is I was going to lose this baby too... I am still crying.
Oh here's the question I used a FRER preg. test last night granted my urine was diluted and it was of course negative! Well they used a HCG test something I read in there it said 25iu something like that I have seen it on the board like the sensetivity of the test, well anyway they called the RE right away and I was taken to her office to do a beta stat...BUT if last night was negative and today's was positive what the heck is going on? What is a evaporated line????? Could it be that or am I just being negative. I mean there were two lines period clearly they even canceled my surgery of course...I did a beta but have to wait till this afternoon...and I am about to go insert progestrone...RIGHT NOW. Let me know what you all think!?!?!??!

Oh wow!!! That is potentially really good news. I would just wait until they call you back with your beta numbers and see what your RE says. Let us know what your beta is!

Chula girl, this had better be it! Just RELAX darling, I know it's hard, but you know it's better to be chill. 25iu is pretty sensitive, so it would pick up even a miniscule amount of hcg in the stream, I don't know what the FRERs are though, but if they're higher than 25 and you're early enough it would've been negative. It's still early for you so....just keep yourself calm and let us know as soon as you hear.

OH MY GOSH CHULA!!! I have chills and am shaking just reading that! OH MY GOSH, girl, you have been through so much, you've been so worried, and now this? Wow what a great surprise! I can't believe it! Wow, the timing for this BFP is impeccable! Breathe in and out girl, just keeping breathing and let your doctor take care of you, that's what s/he is there for. GET SOME PROGESTERONE, asap!!!!!! I know you are so worried sick about being off the progesterone for days already, but your baby bean needs you to relax as best you can, if you can. I'll be praying this one sticks!

Is this hcg test a urine test or blood? I'm just confused as to why they would leave something like that out, confidentiality and all. I also think it's weird that she would lie to you and then tell you it was yours. Seems like they should have never let you find it on your own and should have informed you of the results.
Not meaning to sound negative, just confused as a health care worker. We are trained in confidential info and keeping it that way. Is this in a hospital or a surgery center?
