Congrats!!! I've been a member since May and it does wonders for my motivation. Depending on the leader, the WeightWatcher advice given during the meetings can be generic. Many new members joining up don't know the basics of a healthy lifestyle. That was one of my discouragements at the beginning, but the meetings themselves are a great kickstart in the week! There's a free "daily plate" section at livestrong.com that allows you to track all of your foods/exercise. It gives you a nutritional breakdown of everything you eat, which makes it so easy to track/calculate your points.

do you ladies know of a website that I can calculate how many points I am allowed to have? I have several WW books and thought about starting it, but I didnt want to do the groups and I cant afford the online thing. Any help will be appreciated.
